Philosophy
Our philosophy is rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, where children are viewed as capable, curious, and active participants in their own learning. We foster a collaborative environment where relationships, dialogue, and exploration inspire discovery. Our educators act as co-learners and guides, supporting each child's unique journey through thoughtful observation and meaningful experiences. True play, nature, and outdoor learning are at the heart of our program, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Mission
At Little Earthlings Childcare, we believe every child is a unique and capable individual. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children are supported with care and respect to explore, grow, and reach their full potential—emotionally, socially, cognitively, physically, and spiritually.
Vision
We envision a learning community where children feel a deep sense of belonging and are empowered through meaningful play, guided exploration, authentic relationships, and a connection with nature. Through our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, we nurture confident, compassionate, curious, and resilient learners who are inspired to thrive both today and in the future.
OUR DAY
Open and Flexible Routine
We believe that a child's day should not be dictated by a rigid clock. Instead, our daily rhythms at Little Earthlings are open and flexible, naturally following the curiosity of the children. Many of our families appreciate knowing that, rain or shine, we spend 1.5 to 3 hours outdoors every day, treating nature as our living classroom. Here, learning unfolds at the child's pace, and every transition is handled with patience and emotional care.
